This on line publication is the first step in developing an all inclusive source for news concerning players, parents and fans. Over the next eight months we will be developing special printed editions that will be made available quarterly, as well as bringing you up to date content on this website.

It is our goal, to keep the reader informed, educated and at times entertained with the stories we deliver. As a news source, we are here to report news, we will not participate in endorsing products, teams, leagues, players or political figures on a “pay for endorsement” basis. Our reports and stories will be objective, balanced, and fact based.

There will be times when opinions will be expressed in certain reports, these opinions will be those of the writer and may not always be the opinion of The Junior Hockey News. In that regard, those opinions will be reviewed by our editorial staff to ensure they are fair, balanced and presented in a way as to not be seen as a personal attack on any team, league or individual.

The Junior Hockey News will provide several paid services through the website and in print form. Our Marketplace will provide an inexpensive avenue for business owners, teams and leagues to advertise almost any product or service they may have. These advertising spaces will be reviewed to ensure content is in compliance with acceptable standards.

The Player Profile section will allow players and parents to submit information regarding the player they wish to have listed. All information provided will be fact checked before inclusion. The Junior Hockey News retains the right to refuse listing any player based upon false information being provided. The fee charged for this service covers one year listing and is not intended to be a profit center for TJHN, it is intended for player promotion only and fee's charged are for time in editing web content.

Featured players on TJHN home page will be chosen by TJHN staff. Players or parents may not pay to be featured. This section of TJHN is sponsored by an independent business partner, allowing TJHN to be unbiased when choosing featured players.

Equipment news, will be provided based upon the manufacturer of the equipment announcing a new product, updated product or special offering. At times, equipment will be tested by TJHN testers, some equipment tested will be sponsored by the manufacturer, and other times the equipment will be purchased and tested without advising the manufacturer. Reports on testing will contain the opinions of the tester, and may not be those of The Junior Hockey News.

In sections of TJHN referencing Politics, Technology, Business, and Featured Teams, we will present many points of view and information. Some contents may be collaborative, some may be reprinted information, and others may be editorial pieces from special guest contributors.

The Junior Hockey News will cover all leagues and teams that submit or make syndicated information available for publication or republication with appropriate credit given to the provider.

Our sport is a global one. It is simply the greatest team sport in the world, with the worlds most talented athletes. In that regard we hope to provide you with content and information that crosses international borders.
